There has been a rising number of case reports regarding flares of pre-existing dermatoses after COVID-19 vaccination. Still unclear, the exacerbation seems to be associated with an immune-mediated mechanism, probably due to both infectious components of the vaccine and its adjuvants. Furthermore, vaccine-induced immune enhancement may play a role. Herein, we report a case of a 23-year-old male patient with a previous history of psoriasis. He experienced an exacerbation of psoriasis seven days after the second administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination, gradually spreading on whole body. The patient didn¡¯t receive further vaccination, and the symptom was relieved after five months of cyclosporine treatments. This case report highlights COVID-19 vaccination as a medication that can exacerbate psoriasis, and further studies are needed to elucidate the causal relationship.
